Our purpose – our promise – is to provide you, the breeder, with cattle that are in the top quartile of any market you are trying to sell in to. As beef producers, it is often the weather that determines when you market your cattle. At Currowar, we produce cattle that have the flexibility to sell as the top-line weaners, elite backgrounders, perform in long-fed feedlot right through to the frame and structure to grow out to bullocks. Our old cows will also give you an extra 200 at the end of life as they have the frame and bone to get the maximum return.

We don’t sell overfed overweight Bulls: Overweight bulls that have had nothing but the best feed in front of them their entire life do not last in the real world of serving cows. You wouldn’t ask a sumo wrestler to run a marathon so why buy a fat bull and ask him to do the same thing?
